Police: Crash on Geary hurts 2 pedestrians, family of 5

A two-vehicle crash on Geary Boulevard in San Francisco has injured a family of five, and seriously hurt two elderly pedestrians.

KTVU reports that at least one pedestrian was critically injured. The wreck slightly hurt the family in one of the vehicles. The injured included children.

Crash on Geary caused by illegal turn, say police

Police say the Tuesday crash at at Geary and 21st Avenue happened when a box truck made an illegal turn, causing the two vehicles to collide.

Authorities have not named the injured. The driver of the truck remained on the scene.
