According to The Mercury News, the crash happened around 5:20 p.m. The male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities did not release his name Thursday.
Police said the bus was contracted with Google to transport employees.
A Google spokesperson said, “We are saddened to learn of this tragic incident. Our thoughts are with all those affected by this tragedy.”
Police shut down the accident scene at the intersection of North Shoreline Boulevard and Plymouth Street until after midnight.
Authorities are still investigation the cause of the accident.
